In Part 1 of this 3 part documentary about recovery from alcoholism, Paul recounts the circumstances that brought him to the idea that winning and ‘adventure 5k’ could help him make amends for some of the things that he didn’t do because drinking and partying became more important to him in his last teens, through his 20’s and early 30’s. It is a brutally honest look at an alcoholic who had a ‘high bottom’, and the difference in his life after he stopped drinking. It takes place in Colorado.
