Methadone vs Suboxone
Dr. Edward Fruitman, M.D. explains difference between methadone and suboxone. Trifecta Health Medical Center offer Substance Abuse Treatment with Suboxone in New York City. Call Us to make an appointment at (212) 233-2830

Whilst Methadone has been a god-send of a medication for millions of people over the years, unfortunately it does have a downside; that it was designed for chronic use, i.e. to be used long-term, in order to suppress that desire to once again regress back to the world of drug-use.
Suboxone has a superior advantage, in that it is able to be slowly cut down, and then stopped, in conjunction with a careful co-ordination programme, involving the patient, their family/support network and counsellors.
